Hansel said to Gretel: Let us drop these bread crumbs so that together we can find our way home. Because losing our way would be the most cruel of things. This year I lost my way….

……And losing your way on a journey is unfortunate. But losing your reason for the journey…is a fate more cruel.

The journey lasted eight months. Sometimes I traveled alone. Sometimes there were others who took the wheel… and took my heart. But when the destination was reached, it wasn`t me who`d arrived. It wasn`t me at all

…. And once you lose yourself, you have two choices: Find the person you used to be or lose that person completely.

…..Because sometimes you have to step outside of the person you’ve been and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are.

Mouth: So Mr.Shaw thinks that getting your heart`s desire is a tragedy? I say he`s wrong. I mean, clearly Shaw never kissed Erica Marsh.

Nathan: As far as I concerned, Shaw was a punk. `Cause you know what? Tragedies happen. What are you gonna do, give up? Quit? No, I realize now that when your heart breaks, you got to fight like hell to make sure your still alive. Because you are. And that pain you feel? That’s life. The confusion and fear? That’s there to remind you, that somewhere out there is something better, and that something is worth fighting for.

Haley: This year I got everything I wanted and everything I wished for. But in a way, I lost even more.

Lucas: Shaw was right. As we strain to gasp the things we desire the things we think will make our lives better: money, popularity, fame…we ignore what truly matters … the simple things… like friendship, family, love. The things we probably already had.

Peyton: Yes, losing your heart`s desire is tragic. But gaining your heart`s desire? That`s all you can hope for. This year I wished for love…to immerse myself in someone else and to wake a heart long afraid to feel. My wish was granted. And if having that is tragic, then give me that tragedy. Because I wouldn`t give it back for the world.

a choice to make….

This is my last year in High School. Somehow, I feel kinda happy that I would be soon entering college (well, hopefully); sad since I would not get to see some of my friends anymore and that I would not be able to enjoy this type of lifestyle anymore; nervous and excited in knowing the results for the school year; and lastly dread, since I am still not so sure of what course I have to take.

I am torn between Business Management and Medicine. It really is a tough choice to make since I like both. I used to think that I will take business first then when I am through with it, I go and proceed in taking Medicine. But recently, I have been told that it would take me an awfully long time if I were to take both. The two reasons are: first, considering that Medicine is usually a ten-year course and business would take 4 years, making a total of 14 years (that would be less likely my age now, just a year younger ) ; and second, those are entirely different courses–it would be simple if BM can be considered as a pre-med (but again, nope, it’s not). I was told that I have to choose one. Then here comes another bothersome idea: “What if I also take a music course?”.

So now, I attend review classes for different entrance exams. I plan to take as much as I can so I may have a number of options. Since I am reviewing for these exams, people never fail to ask: “What course are you taking?” ,and before I know it, I would always say that I am taking Medicine. So, that’s how I came to make up my mind. An aunt, my sister and my brother told me to take Med because they said that it suits me well. My mom had no comment so far. My dad told me that I can make up my mind in some later time so I would not regret and for me to be sure of what I want.

The bottom line here is, I would just go and take Medicine so if I have some money already, I can make a business. Anyway, anyone can set up a business without taking a course but I also consider that taking the course would give you an upper hand in the market.
